David Jones

David danced with the Phoenix Irish Step Dancers for five years before moving to Tallahassee. He has also worked as a professional modern, folk and Broadway-style dancer. David has extensive experience working with children through various arts-in-education programs. He has danced and choreographed locally with Ala Carte Theatre, FSU, Women's Dance Project, Quincy Music Theatre, South Georgia Performing Arts, Young Actors Theatre, Bainbridge Little Theatre, The Dance Studio, Lincoln and Chiles High School. He is the past Managing Director of Quincy Music Theatre and proud father of Lauren who also dances with the Tallahassee Irish Step Dancers.

Kristy Lehmann

Kristy Lehmann has been dancing for 10 years and has performed with the Tallahassee Irish Step Dancers for 9 years. She has been teaching at KPA for the last 6 years and specializes in working with the studio?s preschool and beginning dancers. Kristy holds a BA in Music Therapy from Florida State University and has worked as a Music Therapist in the Wakulla County Schools. She also taught music at Community Christian School, Annsworth Academy and has served as the Children?s Choir Director at Celebration Baptist Church. Kristy recently became a Certified ZUMBA Fitness Instructor and is looking forward to holding ZUMBA classes in the near future.

Shannon O'Bryan

Shannon has a BA in theatre and M.Ed in theatre education. She has been involved with over 150 productions as a director, designer, performer or technician. Shannon has a variety of dance experience including tap, Broadway jazz and folk dance. Locally she has been involved with Quincy Music Theatre, Off Street Players, Young Actors Theatre, Tallahassee Community College, Tallahassee Little Theatre and South Georgia Performing Arts. She is currently teaching drama and technical theatre at Chiles High School. She is on the Board of Directors of the Florida Alliance for Theatre and Education, co-chair for the Board of Education's Next Generation Sunshine State Standards theatre curriculum update, and a member of Educational Theatre Association.

Cheryl Chalus-Scott enjoys teaching children and sharing with them the quality training in ballet she received from Madame Ada Pourmel--former prima ballerina from the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo. Cheryl was later accepted on scholarship the North Carolina School of the Arts and received a diploma in dance. During summer months away from school Cheryl studied multiple dance and performing art forms in various dance camps. Performances have included soloist for Drumbeats In Georgia summer stock, Neapolitan Dance Theatre, and the Southwest Florida Ballet Company. Cheryl additionally has performed for the North Carolina School of the Arts performance group and in guest performances with various companies. Dance repertoire has Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Nutcracker, The Cake Walk, and many other classical and contemporary works. Choreography and directing are favorites of Cheryl's and she enjoys teaching children and adults the fundamentals of creating dances. Renascent Dance Theatre (RDT), an eclectic performance troupe, was founded by Cheryl in Miami Florida in 1989 performing the first ever ROCKballet to Pink Floyd's "The Wall".
